Sentilo Solution 200

Tilmicosin is mainly bacteriostatic semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic from tylosin. Tilmicosin is a chemically modified macrolide antibiotic with properties broadly similar to other macrolide. It affects bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. Tilmicosin has a wide spectrum of activity against Gram-positive organisms and is particularly active against Mycoplasma, Pasteurella & Actinobacillus (Haemophilus) organisms of avian origin. When administered orally to chickens with drinking water, tilmicosin is absorbed and moves rapidly out of the serum into areas of low pH. This results in very low serum concentrations, but detectable levels of tilmicosin are found in lung tissue as early as 6 hours after starting the treatment. It shows
low MIC and long half-life and good tissue penetration

Tilmicosin Phosphate 200gm (titer)
Excipient q.s

INDICATION:
Sentilo Solution 200 shows rapid and effective result against the respiratory disease of chicken. The product is effective the prevention and treatment of respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum & Mycoplasma synoviae which are sensitive to Tilmicosin.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
15 – 20 mg Tilmicosin per kg body weight, i.e. 7.5 – 10 ml of Sentilo Solution 200 per 100 kg body weight for 3 days
Or
1 ml of Sentilo Solution 200 per 2.5 liter of drinking water for 3 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to Tilmicosin.

WITHDRAWAL:
10 days for poultry.
