Zamax DS
Ingredients :
- 15 g/ kg Maduramicin ammonium and 145 g/ kg Nicarbazin
Advantages :
ZAMAX DS is a combination of two proven anticoccidials, maduramicin and nicarbazin. This combination optimises the different modes and sites of action of both ingredients and can be utilized effectively in all seasons in shuttle or rotation programs with other anticoccidials.
Mode of action :
Maduramycin is an ionophore coccidiostat that acts during the first 48 hours on multiple early stages of the Eimeria lifecycle. Maduramycin controls the coccidia by disrupting the transport of sodium and potassium ions across the cell membrane. Nicarbazin is complementary as it acts on the later stages of the Eimeria lifecycle, reducing the damage to intestinal tissue that these stages of coccidia can cause.
USAGE: Preparation of kind used in animal feeding (poultry premix)
Usage :
Thoroughly mix ZAMAX DS into feed at a level of 250 g per tonne of feed to obtain a concentration of 3.75 mg maduramicin ammonium and 40 mg nicarbazin per kg of feed respectively.
For the prevention of coccidiosis, the medicated feed containing ZAMAX DS should be fed continuously to broiler chickens as the sole ration.
