Anti Stress Detoxifier Immuno Booster Complex
Toxins are continuously produced in birds. If these are not neutralized or removed from the body they tend to expose the birds to stress. The stress brings in several biochemical changes within the bird’s body, mainly out of defence and protection priorities. The further leads to chain of reactions such as more accumulation of toxins, disfunctioning of vital organs, lowering of resistance of bacterial infections and ultimate death. Even survived, there is no more chances for low productivity and hence very major economic loss.
ADCOMP is a herbal feed supplement based on the science of vitalizing the body activity and helps the body to develop natural defence and toxin excertion system.

Be free from ammonia
WHAT IS POULTRY LITTER ?
Litter = Rice husk + droppings + spilled water & feed + organic matter from the birds.
Litter contains millions of Anaerobic & Micro-aerophilic bacteria that produce Ammonia (NH3).
WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF AMMONIA ?
Presence of very high leaves of ammonia in the deep litter house result into a variety of problems like :
- Conjunctivities - leading to swollen head syndrome.
- Immuno supprission - leading to vaccine failure
& disease outbreak.
- Lung congestion - causing anorexic condition.
- Impaired kidney functions leading to problems like Nephritis & Urolithiasis.
THE SOLUTION:
Ammonix an ammonia degrading powder is specially developed to knock down ammonia generated in poultry litter. Ammonix is a dry, free flowing powder prepared form a group of ammonia oxidizing microoganisms which utilize ammonia as their main nutrient for growth. They secrete a mixture of ammonia oxidizing enzymes which sequentially oxidize ammonia to hydroxyl-amine and then to nitrite. Nitrite is further degraded by other microorganisms present in the litter to nitrates.
HOW IS AMMONIA GENERATED ?
Uric acid is the form in which birds excrete
the NH3 produced in protein metabolism.Nitrates increase Nitrogen content of the litter enriching its fertilizer value.
UNIQUE FEATURES:
- Eco-friendly.
- Safe, non-toxic and odourless.
- Create a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment.
- Reduce ammonia smell.
- Enhance fertilizer value of manure.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Normally harmful effects of ammonia are noticed after 3 weeks of age, hence application of Ammonix is recommended from 21 days onwards on weekly basis.

Super Gut Solution
Acidification of drinking water is a novel concept introduced into the field of poultry management. Hardness & alkalinity of water originate due to dissolved salts of calcium and magnesium in the subsoil water (i.e. borewell and tubewell). If the drinking water for poultry is made slightly acidic with buffered acidifier, it helps the flocks in many ways. Acidification controls multiplication of enteropathogens like E. coli, Salmonella & Pseudomonas. It also helps in making conditions favourable for colonization of useful bacteria like lactobacilli and streptococci within small intestine of birds. Absorption of calcium and antibiotics through gut wall is also facilitated.

For better Calcium Metabolism
The requirement of calcium in modern day poultry is enormous. A major portion of dietary calcium is used in bone formation in chicks, growers and broilers and for eggshell formation in layers. Laying poultry requires more calcium because of calcium carbonate content of eggshell. It is also well documented that as age advances the ability to absorb dietary calcium decreases.
The control of calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the bird is a complex phenomenon involving vitamin D3, Parathormone from the parathyroid gland and calcitonin from the C cells of the thyroid glands.
In recent years it has been observed that inspite of meeting the dietary requirements of calcium in right proportions incidences of perosis, lag weakness, cage layer fatique and thin shelled eggs are on the increase. This could probably be due to the fact that adequate free phosphorus might not be made available in the system for better utilization of calcium.
It is proved that about 80% of body phosphorus is deposited in the skeletal system of the birds. The rest is widely distributed throughout the body and is primarily involved in transfer of biological energy particularly through adenosine triphosphate. Phosphorus excrcises an important function in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats and salts, also play a very important part in maintaining body pH.
Perosis, cage layer fatigue, lag weakness and thin shelled eggs also occur due to deficiency of choline, manganese, zinc, vitamin B12, folic acid, pyridoxine and pantothenic acid.

Mycotoxins: Facts and Figures.
- Worldwide more than 25% of the grain produced every
year is contaminated with mycotoxins. The increased global
trading is enlarging the problem because the contaminated grains
are blended with non-contaminated batches.
- There are more than 400 types of mycotoxins identified
which are diverse in their chemistry and effects on animals
- Feed contaminated with mycotoxins cause a serious range of
problems i ncl udi ng reductions in feed intake, growth performance
(see fig. 1, 2}, reproductive, health and immunity problems (see
table 1 ). Symptoms are often non-specific and cost the agrisector
billions of dollars.

Table 1: Effect of Ochratoxin A on broilers' immunity and the
pathogenicity of Salmonella. (Gupta et al., 2005)
- Dietary mycotoxins can also end up in animal products destined
for human consumption, such as milk, eggs and meat where
they remain a stable and inert toxic molecule.
- Under normal conditions, a multi-toxin contamination is likely,
which can have a synergistic effect, increasing the negative
impact on animals' performance and health. Also the combination
with bacterial toxins increases the health issues of mycotoxins
significantly.
- Due to the heterogeneity of contaminations, the expensive analysis and the relatively long analysis time, individual sampling and analysis is a critical factor and is often insufficient or too
expensive to make a full risk evaluation. Therefore prevention
should be a key element in an efficient approach.

Well selected and purified clay minerals have the ability to adsorb polar mycotoxins.

Liver cells: As liver functionality is key for detoxification and overall metabolism,
it is of utmost importance to strive for optimal liver health and cell regeneration.

Table 2: Only a handful mycotoxins out of the 400 mycotoxins known and their impact on farm animals' performance and health.
Essential multi-task protection and
support.
Each mycotoxin has a different physical and chemica I structure and
feedstuffs are naturally contaminated with various toxins. Therefore,
a multi functional mycotoxin control requires different techniques to
neutralize specific toxins.
Escent® is a toxin inactivator with multi-purpose modes of action
carefully designed to enhance, protect and support animal performance.
Reduce immunosuppression
A reduced status of the immune-system is alleviated by the use of
Beta-gl ucans and well selected plant extracts.
Reduce oxidative stress
The presence of mycotoxins plays an important role in lipid peroxidation
at cell level. (see fig. 2) Both, synthetic and natura I
antioxidants avoid further action of free radicals towards intestinal
micro-flora, tissues and cells, protecting the natural pathways
of biotransformation of mycotoxins.

Organ support
Liver and kidneys are crucial organs in the detoxification and
elimination of toxic principles in the blood. Several mycotoxins
have a well-known impact on the functioning of these organs.
Escent® includes various plant extracts, selected as they are
known to maintain and restore organ function.
Mycotoxin adsorption & biotransformation
Both high adsorbent mineral clays and yeast extracts rich in
gluco-mannans are used to adsorb mycotoxins. Their role is to
adsorb mycotoxins efficiently, selectively and quickly, reducing the
bio-availability for the organism. (see fig 3 and table 3)
Yeast extracts may support and activate specific biotransformation
pathways.
Mould inhibition
In order to eliminate further mould development, and by consequence
potential mycotoxin production, a selected mould inhibitor
makes
Escent® a well-balanced mixture between support,
protection and prevention.

Heat Stress!... don’t Distress!
HEAT STRESS IN BIRDS !
One of the major causes of mortality in birds is "Heat Stress". Farmers incur huge losses during major operations like vaccination, transportation and increased temperatures during summer. Birds are ‘Heat Stressed' if they have difficulty achieving a balance between, heat produced and heat lost. This can occur at all ages and in all types of poultry.
' Thermo-neutral zone ’,12.8 C to 23.9 C ; Birds can lose heat at a controlled rate in a normal manner.
There is no heat stress if the body temperature is held constant. When conditions like the 'Upper critical temperature’, 35.5 C to 40.8 C ,is exceeded, birds must lose heat actively by panting.
The body temperature of the bird must remain between 39- 41°C . If body temperature rises more than 41 ° C , the bird will be stressed, leading to subsequent rise in mortality in the flock.
Schematic summary of non-specific stress :neural pathways and humoral pathways.Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis(HPA); Neurogenic System(NS)
The most common sources of increased body heat in birds !
- Heat is produced by metabolism within the body, which includes: maintenance, growth and egg production
- Excluding temperature of the air ventilating the house, heat is also added from the roof and walls and dry litter
- The heat of electric lights and motors is a very small fraction(1%) of heat produced by the body metabolism
- Increase in ambient temperature in summer

Probiotic for healthy gut
Colonization of pathogenic bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) of the bird has been a persistent problem faced by the poultry industry. The enteropathogenic and enteroinvasive bacteria entering into the digestive tract of the chicken constantly assault the gut epithelium. The normal flora of chicken gut is a complex and dynamic ecosystem of varied microbial populations. This microflora helps in digestion and prevents colonization of the intestinal wall by undesirable becteria like Clostridium, E.coli and Salmonella. Predominant members of normal flora include microaerophilic lactic acid bacteria like lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and streptococci.Frequent and prolonged use of gut acting antibiotics and systemic antibiotics invariably bring down the normal population of these desirable bacteria. This makes way for overgrowth of the potentially invasive and pathogenic bacteria causing conditions like bacterial enteritis, septicemia and loose droppings which lead to production losses. Gutpro contains high count of desirable lactic acid bacteria (live probiotic cultures in lyophilized form) which keep on proliferating in the gut microenvironment thereby suppressing the overgrowth of undesirable bacteria. Healthy gut of the bird directly reflects on the best performance in broiler, layer and breeder. Regular administration of Gutpro reduces unwanted use of antibiotics.
